UP Angleton Sub.
UP's Angleton Sub runs from Algoa, south of Alvin, 122 miles to Bloomington, where trains continue toward Corpus Christi and Brownsville. Most traffic is chemicals from Bloomington, Freeport, and Anlgeton to Houston, Livonia, Little Rock, and Ft.Worth along with southbounds from Houston and Pine Bluff. MEWBV and MBVHO do run all the way between Houston and Brownsville. BNSF has trackage rights down the line along with shortline Point Comfort Northern Rockdale. The Angleton Sub operates on 160.410, but also listen to 161.190 as most trains use the BNSF Mykawa Sub from Algoa to Houston. There are about 20 trains daily.

  BNSF Galveston Sub. The BNSF Galveston Sub is 215.9 miles from Galveston to Temple. This former Santa Fe line runs through Somerville, Brenham, Sealy, Rosenberg, and Alvin on its way to Galveston. The line sees about 25 trains a day which include manifest, vehicle, coal, grain, and other unit traffic. The line is chasable down Highway 36 most of the way from Temple. At Alvin trains use the Mykawa Sub which is parallel to Mykawa Rd. up to BNSF's South Yard unless they are headed to Galveston. The line is busier past Rosenberg since many BNSF trains from Houston use the UP to Rosenberg. Listen on 161.190, but also 160.665 for the UP around Rosenberg and TTD2 on 160.770 around South Yard.

  UP Glidden Sub. UP's Glidden Sub is the Sunset Route west of Houston. The line runs from the Terminal to Eureka, West Jct, Sugar Land, Rosenberg, towards San Antonio. The Eureka Sub to Navasota and Hearne diverges at Eureka. Traffic from the port area and BNSF enters the Glidden Sub at West Jct off the Harrisburg Line. You can chase on the Glidden Sub down Highway 90A from West Jct to Rosenberg. There are at least 30 trains daily through here. Listen on 160.665.   UP Palestine Sub. The UP Palestine Sub starts at Belt Jct and runs up the Toll Road for about 20 miles to Spring, then on towards Palestine and Little Rock. The Navasota Sub diverges at Spring heading towards Navasota and Hearne. The "Toll Road" is double track and is actually two one way lines making a two way street. The Palestine Sub sees only northbound chemical trains for Little Rock and Chicago, along with the BNSF MHOMEJ to Memphis. The only intermodal is ZHOYC. This makes up between 10 and 15 trains a day. The Navasota Sub sees about 10 to 15 trains daily, which are mostly southbound manifests, rock, auto, and coal trains. Listen on 161.445 and 160.410.
